I am very happy with the product and thanks to WNTR for coming up with this product which I plan to use on my coming tours. I am kind of sold to the brand
Anirban Ray ★★★★★
Purchased the mid-size WNTR bag around 10 days back and I’m really happy with the quality. The bag feels sturdy, lightweight, and very spacious for short trips. Wheels roll smoothly and the overall finish looks premium. Definitely a great value-for-money purchase!
Narendra Joglekar ★★★★★
When the luggage arrived, the first impression was fantastic—sleek design, sturdy build, and really premium-looking. But the best part was my daughter’s reaction—she absolutely loved it the moment she saw it! That alone made the purchase completely worth it.
Sanjeev Saraswat ★★★★★
Thanks for this! Love it. Great quality and more better to use compared to flat opening bags

Great quality bags... I got the set of three and can’t wait to use them all! Compared to the competition, the design and value are excellent, and they look and feel truly premium. The wheels are smooth, and the overall build feels sturdy. The colors are great too... I especially love the maroon interior of the bag.
Thanks for this! Love it. Great quality and more better to use compared to flat opening bags
This is my 2nd bag from wntr, it's beautiful classy and spacious as always
Welcome back and thank you!
Amazing colour and quality. Very spacious despite being a cabin. I can easily fit 3-4 days of packing
Thank you! And that colour's popping in that picture too 😁
I’ve been wanting to buy a super high quality luggage for a very long time. So glad I got this. It feels way more premium than the price. Amazing. I was comparing this to assembly, Safari, Carlton, Mokobara etc. checked them out all but thought I’ll buy this and see if I like it. If not return. But so happy with it. Thank you for great service too
Thank you! We've tried very hard with quality. Glad you're loving it.
Perfect, no nonsense high quality cabin bag. Solid feeling build, nice interior. Looks amazing, good price.
I’m so glad WNTR launched this trunk style luggage. I wanted it for a really long time, and when they said it was launched I got it right away. Got it for 7k, on sale.
Coming to the bag, it’s super high quality, the bottom half is deeper than the top half so you can open just the top lid when you don’t have space. It’s perfect. Love the colour and the feel
Thanks Disha! Appreciate the kind words
This is amazing! Awesome product for the price; feels way more premium than other options.
Love it! Thank you.
I love the way the bag looks, and the wheels, everything is exactly the way they have mentioned, I just want a luggage cover for travelling, which the brand doesn't have. They have given dust cover, which is good for storage but not travelling. How do protect bag while travelling?
Have been contemplating on buying a bag from one of these new trendsetters in the market. But so glad i finally picked WNTR over the other brands after a lot of research. Absolutely love the build quality of the bag. Have already made 3 trips and the indigo bag handlers despite of their best attempts haven’t been able to scratch it yet. I would suggest you to go for it without thinking. Its the best out there.
Saw a wntr bag at an airport, loved the looks of it. Bought a set, everything from unboxing to experience in my hands is solid
Thet'll keep coming! ;)
I haven't used any bag which is has so smooth wheels which roll effortlessly on the carpets. I came across this brand while I was on the airport for my India trip and especially waited to buy a replacement for my old luggage. In love with this bag ❤️
Thanks Jared!
Bag is solid. I like the finish of the corner. A little of expensive side but completely worth it.
I have given a 4 star review because the delivery was slightly delayed. The customer service was very prompt and Keyaah from WNTR assisted me with timely updates and got the bag delivered once I contact WNTR customer care. They responded with 5 mins which isn't seen in any of their rivals as Mokobara or Assembly as I own both of them. But moving forward I am just going to recommend WNTR to friends and family. Shout out to Keyaah for saving the day.
Can't wait to travel with this - my unboxing experience was great, they have included a nice dust bag that comes with luxury brands I've purchased before. Overall quality feels superb
Thanks so much to Ananya from WNTR; I reached out to them and asked for 3 different colours in my set, not only was she extremely quick and responsive, but perfectly understood what I needed and delivered ASAP. I just got back from my trip to Europe and this is the first time people have come up to me and asked about my bags.
These are beautiful!! When Ananya asked me to write a review for the website, I was more than happy. To everyone reading - please go ahead and get these, these guys are AMAZING! The bags themselves are flawless. My only concern is that the cabin handle is slightly more wobbly than I would have wanted - but Ananya explained why it's designed the way it is, I've had no issues with it thus far, but mentioned it anyway .
Thank you for taking the time out, Riya!
Just to explain for everyone else reading; the trolley handles are designed differently for the cabin vs the check-in sizes. What happens is - we tend to pick up the cabin bag with the bag's trolley handle when we're going up a flight of stairs, or at the airport etc. So the handle needs to be designed in a way, where it's durable and stays so while having upto 15kg weight suspended on it. We have purposely designed it to have a little play, so the tensile strength is high.
The check-in sizes might feel a little more tight and stiff, but that's solely because no one really picks up those bags with the trolley handles. So we can engineer them to have a more desirable, tighter feel.
The Dawn X Cabin is WNTR's lightweight entry into hard shell cabin luggage: a 2.9 kg polycarbonate trolley priced at ₹5,499, built for anyone who wants a genuine hard shell bag without paying flagship prices. It is not a smaller, cheaper version of our Strunk range with features removed; it runs on its own packing architecture, called 80-20, which solves a different problem than Strunk's dual-mode trunk system does.
At 2.9 kg empty, it is also the lightest cabin trolley in the WNTR range, a genuine spec advantage worth knowing if overhead-bin weight or arm fatigue at the airport is what's driving your search, not just price.

Dawn X does not use Strunk's dual Suitcase-and-Trunk transformation. It runs a fixed but deliberately split interior, what WNTR calls 80-20 architecture: 80% of the bag is one continuous, deep packing cavity, and the remaining 20% is a surface-level compartment for whatever you need to grab without digging through the rest.
The idea is to remove the forced 50-50 split you get on a conventional hard shell suitcase, where clothes on one side and everything else on the other side both end up half-packed and neither side is deep enough for bulky items. Dawn X instead gives you one properly deep cavity for the bulk of what you're packing, plus a shallow, separate zone up front for chargers, documents, a book, or a toiletry bag, the things you actually reach for mid-trip.
Like the rest of the WNTR range, the Dawn X Cabin opens through the front door rather than lifting a lid, so you get to both zones without laying the case flat or unpacking it completely.
Strunk's dual-mode system is about capacity, it gives you two different volumes (Suitcase Mode and an expanded Trunk Mode) depending on trip length. Dawn X's 80-20 split is about organisation within one fixed volume, it doesn't get bigger, but it separates what you pack from what you need on hand. They're solving different problems, and neither is a stripped-down version of the other.
The Dawn X Cabin's shell is specified as 100% German polycarbonate on WNTR's own spec sheet. Elsewhere on the product page, the shell is also described as using 40% recycled material as part of what WNTR calls its UltraShell construction. We've used the spec sheet's material line as the primary claim here and flagged the recycled-content figure separately in the notes below, since the two descriptions would benefit from being reconciled into one consistent line.
As a hard shell cabin suitcase, polycarbonate flexes on impact rather than cracking outright. If you're comparing shell materials generally, our polycarbonate luggage guide and hard shell vs soft shell comparison cover the trade-offs in more depth.
The wheel system is built for smooth, near-silent movement across tile, marble, and rough airport flooring. Note for you: the feature callout on this PDP names it “NordDrive” wheels with an 8-wheel layout, while the specifications accordion further down the same page calls it the “NordGlide 360° System”, the name used across the rest of the WNTR range. We've used NordGlide as the canonical name in this copy since it matches your spec table and your other product pages, but the two names should be reconciled on the live page.
A single TSA-certified combination lock secures the bag and can be opened keylessly by security at US, European, and Asian checkpoints without needing to be cut. This is one lock, not the dual-lock system used on the Strunk range. Read TSA locks explained if you want the full certification story.
At 55.5 x 36.5 x 23.5 cm, the Dawn X Cabin fits within the domestic cabin baggage allowance for IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air, SpiceJet, and Air India Express. If you fly a specific carrier regularly, our cabin luggage size guide for Indian airlines breaks down each one's exact limits.
At 2.9 kg, the Dawn X Cabin is genuinely lighter than the Strunk Cabin (3.1 kg), and lighter than most hard shell cabin bags in this price band generally. That difference sounds small on paper, but it is the difference between an empty bag eating into your airline's cabin weight allowance and one that leaves more of it for what you actually pack. If a lightweight cabin trolley bag is specifically what you're searching for, rather than just any hard shell cabin bag, this is the reason to look at Dawn X first.
The Dawn X Cabin carries a 5-year comprehensive warranty, covering:
Warranty service includes pickup and repair with a 7-day turnaround and nationwide coverage. Full terms on our warranty policy page.
Note for you: the add-to-cart area on this PDP also shows a “WNTR Protect — 5-Year Warranty + Active Damage Protection” badge. We haven't described what Active Damage Protection covers beyond the base warranty here, since that isn't detailed elsewhere on the page; worth adding a line to this section once you can confirm what it includes.
This is a shorter warranty than the Strunk range's 10-year coverage, consistent with Dawn X's position as the accessible, lower-cost line rather than the flagship.
Both use a genuine polycarbonate hard shell and both open through the front rather than lifting a lid. Beyond that, they're built for different buyers.
Buy Dawn X Cabin if you fly occasionally, want genuine polycarbonate at a lower price, or care most about low weight. Buy the Strunk Cabin if you fly often and want the dual-mode capacity boost, the dedicated laptop compartment, and longer warranty coverage.
See the full Strunk Cabin product page for its specs.
Dawn X holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 134 reviews. Reviewers consistently mention smooth, quiet wheels, a premium look and feel relative to the price, and satisfaction with the polycarbonate build quality against competing bags at a similar spend.
₹5,499, free shipping, 5-year warranty, and 100 days to try it. Add to cart, or compare it against the Strunk Cabin if you want the dual-mode capacity and dedicated laptop compartment instead.

Yes, it is priced at ₹5,499, inclusive of all taxes, against a shown MRP of ₹6,999.
Yes. The shell is specified as 100% German polycarbonate on WNTR's spec sheet, the same material class used in aircraft canopies and protective cases. It flexes on impact rather than cracking outright, unlike thinner ABS shells.
2.9 kg empty, the lightest cabin bag in the WNTR range.
80-20 architecture is a fixed interior split: 80% of the bag is one deep, continuous packing cavity, and 20% is a separate, shallow zone for items you need quick access to. It doesn't change the bag's total volume. Strunk's dual-mode system instead transforms the bag between a Suitcase Mode and an expanded Trunk Mode, increasing usable capacity by up to 15% on longer trips. Dawn X organises a fixed space; Strunk expands it.
No. The Dawn X Cabin has a single TSA-certified combination lock, opened keylessly by security at checkpoints. The Strunk range uses a dual-lock system.
A 5-year comprehensive warranty covering manufacturing defects, the wheels, handle and trolley system, zipper malfunctions, and shell integrity, with pickup and repair service and a 7-day turnaround. This is shorter than the Strunk range's up-to-10-year coverage.
Yes. At 55.5 x 36.5 x 23.5 cm, it fits within the cabin baggage allowance for IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air, SpiceJet, and Air India Express.
Not a dedicated one. The Strunk Cabin's FastLane compartment, built specifically for fast laptop access at security, is a Strunk-only feature.
Both use a genuine polycarbonate shell and front-door access. Dawn X uses a fixed 80-20 packing split, a single TSA lock, and a 5-year warranty, at ₹5,499. Strunk uses a dual-mode trunk transformation, a dual TSA lock, a dedicated laptop compartment, and up to 10 years of warranty, at ₹8,499. Dawn X is the lighter, lower-priced option; Strunk is the flagship.
Yes, Dawn X is also sold in Medium and Large sizes and as multi-piece sets starting from ₹11,499. See the Dawn X Sets collection for current combinations and pricing.
