Cabin luggage is any bag sized to fit inside an aircraft's overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. For every major Indian airline, that means a hard limit of 55 x 37 x 23 cm. Every piece in the WNTR cabin collection is engineered to sit inside that envelope, roll silently through Indian airport terminals, and take a decade of use without cracking, denting, or losing a wheel.
Rooted in India. Designed in London. Made for the world. If you have been searching for a cabin trolley bag that survives Mumbai monsoons, Delhi baggage handlers, and the crush of a full IndiGo overhead bin, this is the collection built for that.

Most cabin bags sold in India are re-badged imports built to a price point. We built ours to a spec sheet.
For a deeper look at how we engineer these bags, read Why WNTR is better.
Two trolleys. One flagship, one value-premium. That is the entire cabin lineup, and it is deliberate.
| Model | Price | Best for | Shell | Positioning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strunk Cabin | ₹8,499 (from ₹12,999) |
Frequent flyers who want the best hard-shell we make | Aerospace-grade polycarbonate, dual-mode trunk/suitcase | Flagship luxury cabin luggage |
| Dawn X Cabin | ₹5,999 (from ₹11,999) |
First-time buyers upgrading from soft-shell or old ABS | Polycarbonate, lighter build | Value-premium lightweight cabin trolley |
Need a personal-item companion? Pair either trolley with the Allure Backpack or Allure Briefcase. That combination clears IndiGo, Air India, Akasa, and SpiceJet without a gate-check.
Travelling as a couple or family? Upgrading to a cabin + medium set or a 3-piece set works out cheaper per bag than buying separately.
We wrote a full luggage buying guide, but here is the short version we give our own team.
1. Match the airline, not the bag. IndiGo, Air India, Akasa, Air India Express, and SpiceJet enforce 55 x 37 x 23 cm on cabin baggage. If your trolley is a centimetre over on any side, it goes to the hold. Every WNTR cabin trolley is dimensioned to clear this. Cross-check against our Strunk size chart or Dawn X size chart.
2. Prioritise the shell, not the print. Polycarbonate flexes and returns to shape. ABS cracks. PP is heavier and dents. If a "hard-shell" bag does not specify the polymer, assume it is ABS. Every WNTR hard-shell is polycarbonate.
3. Wheels are the first thing to fail on cheap luggage. Single-bearing wheels seize up within a year of Indian airport use. Dual-bearing 360° spinners are the minimum spec worth buying.
4. Buy for ten years, not one trip. A ₹8,499 Strunk Cabin used on 50 trips costs ₹170 per trip. A ₹4,000 trolley replaced every two years costs more and travels worse.
For packing efficiency once you have picked your bag, read Optimise your luggage space and add a set of WNTR packing cubes.
Quick reference for the carriers most WNTR customers fly.
Every WNTR cabin trolley sits inside this envelope with the wheels and handle included in the measurement. That last part matters. Some brands quote the shell dimension only, then you get stopped at the gate.
55 x 35 x 25 cm and 7 kg across every major Indian domestic carrier: IndiGo, Air India, Akasa, Air India Express, and SpiceJet. International carriers vary, so check your specific airline before flying.
7 kg for the cabin trolley plus a personal item like a laptop bag or handbag. IndiGo weighs cabin bags at the gate on random checks, so stay honest with the number.
For most Indian travellers, yes. Hard-shell polycarbonate protects contents better, wipes clean after monsoon travel, and handles baggage-handler impact more predictably. Soft-shell has a small edge in expandability and external pockets, but loses on durability and weather resistance.
Yes. Every airline measures total external dimensions with wheels and handles included. Every WNTR cabin trolley is dimensioned this way, so what you see on the spec sheet is what the gate agent will measure.
Yes, but most frequent travellers keep the laptop in a personal-item bag like the Allure Backpack or Allure Briefcase so it stays with you at the seat instead of the overhead bin.
4-wheel 360° spinners are better for airport terminals, hotel lobbies, and any flat surface. 2-wheel bags roll better over broken pavement but require more effort on smooth floors. Every WNTR cabin trolley uses 4-wheel dual-bearing spinners.
Yes. Polycarbonate flexes and returns to shape under impact. ABS is more brittle and cracks at stress points, especially at the corners. Polycarbonate is also lighter for the same shell thickness, which is why every WNTR hard-shell uses it.
Yes, though it is usually a waste. If you are checking bags anyway, upgrade to a medium check-in and use the cabin trolley for a second trip. Cabin trolleys are engineered for overhead-bin fit, not maximum volume.
Sharp objects, flammable liquids, lithium batteries above 100 Wh without airline approval, and any liquid over 100 ml per container (with a 1-litre total cap in a clear pouch on international flights). Full lists are published on the DGCA and airline websites.
Use the built-in TSA combination lock on your WNTR trolley. It lets US security inspect the bag without cutting it open and is accepted across European and Asian checkpoints too.
WNTR ships free across India from our Pune facility. Delivery is 3 to 5 days to metros and 5 to 7 days to Tier 2 and 3 cities. There is no showroom detour. The product arrives at your door with the warranty registered to your order. See our shipping policy for details.
Strunk (₹8,499) is our flagship: dual-mode trunk-and-suitcase design, thickest polycarbonate shell, premium hardware, and our longest warranty coverage. Dawn X (₹5,999) is the value-premium line, using the same polycarbonate material class with a lighter overall build and a tighter feature set. If you fly more than 20 times a year, Strunk pays back. If you fly 5 to 10 times a year, Dawn X is the smarter buy.
Yes. Every cabin trolley ships with warranty coverage of up to 10 years on the shell, wheels, telescopic handle, and locks. Full terms are on our warranty policy page. Claims are handled through the warranty service claim page.
Yes. WNTR offers 100 days to try. If the bag does not win you over on your first trip, send it back for a full refund. See our return policy for details.
A well-built polycarbonate cabin trolley used on 40 to 60 trips a year should serve you for 8 to 10 years with normal use. That is the durability window WNTR designs for, and it is why we back it with a warranty up to 10 years.
Every WNTR cabin trolley ships free across India, arrives in 3 to 5 days, comes with warranty coverage up to 10 years, and gives you 100 days to try it.
